Very worst meat store and bad customer service. Very expensive and they are selling lamb and rotten meat as Goat meat and selling in high price.. am one of the victim and never recommend to anyone.. All items are very costly and I had to clean my house multiple times to get away the smell of the rotten meat.. when I reported him he was cool and rude and telling I didn’t cook properly. Am still not sure how the rotten smell related to cooking.. Down Down subzi mandi..
I bought 3 packs of lamb only to realize after the purchase I was insanely over charged . It’s 6.77/package but was charged 15.99 per package then charged for 7 items when I only bought 3. I’m very disappointed. And will not come here again. I’m not sure if it’s prejudice or the assumption since I’m not a regular that it’s easier to mislead me but it is very wrong what happened and I hope the person who did this will not do this again to anyone else. Response to management: Thank you for confirming that I was not charged for seven packages. Unfortunately, that is exactly what your receipt suggests. The receipt clearly states "6.77 pc @ $15.99/pc." "PC" is the standard abbreviation for piece, not pound. If your store uses "pc" to mean pounds, then the receipt is mislabeled. It isn't the customer's responsibility to guess that your receipt uses abbreviations differently than their accepted meaning. I also find it disappointing that instead of acknowledging how confusing your receipt is, your response was to tell me you were going to "educate" me, emphasize that I was a first-time customer, and ask me to rethink and delete my review. First-time customers are exactly the people who wouldn't know your store's internal pricing system. That isn't a flaw on my part—it's a communication issue on yours. Had your cashier simply explained that the price was $15.99 per pound and that the receipt would display it this way, there never would have been a review to begin with. Your response has actually reinforced my decision not to return. Not because of the pricing, but because of the way my concerns were handled. A confusing receipt, no explanation at checkout, a condescending public response, and then ending it with "We value your feedback" while simultaneously asking me to delete my honest review sends a very different message. I won't be deleting my review. If anything, I'll be updating it to reflect both my original experience and how management chose to respond.
Every week my life partner, her and I go to Walmart for grocery shopping, but we ALWAYS stop here to get produce. The staff is very nice, personable, and welcoming and they remember us each week. I always look forward to going because they have the best garlic in town, consistently amazing and delicious green onions, beautiful green peppers, at least one, sometimes two varieties of okra which are both very good and everything is fresh. We can get Indian and Middle Eastern spices that no one else has, such as amchur (one of my favorites) and methi (fenugreek leaves) and others. And Indian chutney, like corander chutney (so good) and other varieties. And my favorite part is their lamb. The absolute best of the best. It's halal so its bled thoroughly, which gives it a cleaner taste, but even still, its just great lamb. I love lamb and this is the best I've ever had. In the last 2 days we made qorma-e-subzi and methi gosht for dinner at home, both lamb dishes, and we can't stop talking about their lamb. They also stock Turkish labenh, another favorite of mine. And they stock dahi, authentic indian yogurt. We cook Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine from scratch at home and this is the place to go if you do the same. Its also the place to go anytime you need fresh produce or just groceries ❤️
The best place for shopping and the good customer service. We are really appreciate from Subzi Mandi.
